Making Mammoth Tracks Mobile Craft Studio

Nanaimo,  BC

Making Mammoth Tracks Mobile Craft Studio is a traveling creative studio inspired by Canada’s natural beauty. I spend much of the year crafting on Vancouver Island, where I gather materials and find inspiration in the coastal landscape. The rest of the time, I travel across the country in a “mammoth” RV—exploring forests, fi elds, and shorelines, collecting natural treasures and stories.

With a 20-year background in science and a deep love of plants, my work blends art and observation. Whether I’m painting shells, pressing wildflowers, or building flower presses from scratch, every piece I make carries a sense of place and a story of where it came from. My mobile studio and nature-based storytelling make my work truly unique. Every item is created in small batches, tied to the land that inspired it.
